I need help with listening to MORE Japanese artist...umm like who is Emiko Shirtatori?
I remember reading about Rurutia...long ago..
you all talk about all these people, but I have no idea who they are or where to start
and I'm curious as to all this..just help me with a list of artists that you listen to?
please..it'd be much appreciated!!heh

Well my list of favourite artists mainly consists of... Akino Arai heheh
Other than her, I would recommend kotringo if you like those 'soft & sweet' Japanese artists - kotringo is sort of piano/electronic

Another similar artist is Caroline Lufkin, or just Caroline. Her Mumurs album is on itunes ~ she's Japanese, and again very soft &sweet with a bit of electronic on the side 

(Also Emiko Shiratori did the theme song for Final Fantasy 9, I have her 'Cross My Heart' album, she's quite nice!)
