anyone else got the new releases yet?
i got my "sora no sphere" a few weeks ago. i'd say better than Eden. but nothing on there is remotely as haunting, mesmerizing and captivating as "Orange Noel", "Ai no Ondo", etc... so once again, I'm disappointed. I'd settle for something as great as "sakasama no niji", or "black seed" or "satellite song"... no such luck. i think track 9, which had the ehru, i believe, was the most interesting. i also got the curly giraffe cd. it's better than average, but not in the Akino-level-sphere i was hoping for. Not even ZABADAK level. In summary, Sora no Sphere sounds tired, uninspired and "mailed-in" |
